#realmexicanstreetstyle

Carla is changing the way we perceive street style in Mexico. This project captures real people wandering around the streets of Mexico City with no production, no staged photographs, just really looking into interesting shapes, materials, colors, patterns and silhouettes.   —

Real Mexican Street Style is a project created by Worldwide Limited founder and friend Carla Valdivia. The images are a documentation of street styles around Mexico City.

This project is a complementary part of Carla´s work as a fashion designer for her own brand WWLTD (Worldwide Limited), a brand that focuses on exploring Mexican youth culture with a global perspective.

Carla graduated from London’s Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in 2011. Since graduating, she has been using her brand as a cultural project resulting in collaborations with Mexican designer Roberto Sanchez, inclusion in 89+ at the Jumex Museum, an exhibition at Lodo’s gallery and a virtual residency on Terremoto.mx. She now lives and works between Mexico City and New York.
